Se faire jour

From January 18 to 20, 2024, Young European Artists had the pleasure of hosting the exhibition “Se Faire Jour” organized by the Atelier Art dans l'Espace Public of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels (ARBA-ESA) at our premises in Stassart, Ixelles (1050).

The workshop is a place for research and experimentation where students reflect on taking art out of the more traditional museum context to explore alternative venues, particularly public spaces.

As part of their mid-year jury, the young artists took over our spaces to collectively install their projects and works in progress.

The color yellow, the exhibition's common thread, symbolizes both the young artists seeking their place and the dawn of a new generation. Se Faire jour is presented as a blossoming, a revelation, and the dawn of new artistic perspectives.

The exhibition brought together the work of Amy Bisserier, Alix Cantal, Zoé Follis, Laurie Gatsono, Éléa Germain, Mila Gesta, Thomas Lambert, Alice Loubat, and Lisa Zimmermann, offering a dialogue between individual creations and collective installations.
