Young European Artists hosted the exhibition “La Fièvre” (The Fever), conceived by Sophie Vendryes, in our premises on Rue de Stassart, which were transformed for the occasion into a space for integration and creation. It was an interactive and collective fresco designed in the poetic form of a brazier, inviting visitors to actively participate by writing freely in the exhibition space. The event took place from June 6 to 12, 2024.
The principle was simple: “Think of writing a word as if you were lighting a fire. The more the space is nourished by our words, the more the fire is fueled.”
Through this project, La Fièvre transformed writing into a collective and sensory experience, offering a constant dialogue between visitors, participants, and the artist's creation. Each word and each gesture contributed to nourishing the fresco, making the exhibition a living place where individual expression and collective construction met.
