Young European Artists presented the exhibition “Chacun chez soi” (Everyone at Home), a photographic collaboration between Luk Vander Plaetse, Hugues Legros, and Thibault Choquel, which ran from November 16 to 25, 2023, at Rue de Stassart 34 in Ixelles.
The exhibition offers a poetic exploration of everyday life and familiar places: clouds, streets, interiors, and fragments of ordinary lives are revealed in all their beauty and strangeness. Each artist brings a unique perspective, but the joint selection creates a coherence where the intimate and the collective meet. The project invites the public to let themselves be surprised by the unexpected and to observe the ordinary world with attention and sensitivity, without seeking to decipher the before or after.
Through this collaborative work, Chacun chez soi (Everyone at Home) bears witness to the richness of the photographic gesture and the trust between the artists, revealing the subtle aesthetics of everyday life and the poetry hidden in the places we think we know.
