Born in 1993, Louise Guerraud lives and works in France. Her practice focuses on so-called "marginalized" groups who come together around a shared passion. Through a fieldwork approach based on encounter and listening, she explores what these communities reveal about our individual and collective identities.
Her projects, at the intersection of documentary and poetic art, explore peripheral spaces and the social realities that permeate them, blending a sensitive dimension with political implications. A graduate of the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Nantes, she exhibits in France and Belgium and co-founded the artist-run space "Askip" in Nantes.
